$1.00

Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Looking for a new FJR to replace my 2013 with 40k miles. If these bikes are going away, I want a fresh one!

Using Cycle Trader I only find 4-5 that are actually new either 2023 0r 2024.

Any ideas?

Thx
Dwayne

Ooh! Let me be the first!

My advice is to ride the one you have until it is used up. It will go for 200k miles easy so at your current rate (40k in 12 years) you should be enjoying it through 2073. How old will you be in 48 years?

When you find a new one, let me have you old bike for the "dealer trade-in offer", please. But, only if it's blue. My Yamaha's must be blue, for some reason. (And my Honda's must be red, weird?)

Excellent math...

I probably wont be on the FJR at 112 years old!

I found it strange to only see (4) total on Cycle Trader that listed as new. Ride Now Dealers have a few listed as new but have miles between 700-4k so not sure on their business practices anyway. Old jeep thx for the one at MotoCity, if they are in Anthem I bought a SXS there in 2020 good folks.

26k out the door???? US dollars???

2025 FJR1300 in Canada is CDN$22,750 includes CDN$1,150 freight PDI and fees. Sales tax in my province is CDN$2,730.
Out the door CDN$25,480 which converts to US$18,720.

Wow, US$7,000 higher than the price here.

Have you researched importing a motorcycle? It might be worth your time.

The initial prices are listed as $18,299 + fees. Each dealer has a few processes they use to make money. Ride Now has a $600 paperwork charge on top of freight and PDI. They flex other things to bring that in line with competing dealers and their $299 docs fee. Generally, it is just under $20k to put it in your garage.

Still looking...

I hate those evil greedy Ride Now bastards. Which is why I bought my '23 FJR from a dealetship in West Virginia. I had a great ride back to Phoenix and I still saved money.
