Started working on the seat. I dislike trampoline seats, so started building a HDPE base for a foam seat. Lots of drilling and pop rivets.

Man she's going to be nice. How much of the chrome is re-pop ? Haven't restored a old Honda for 20 years. I remember that the chrome goodies were rare as hens teeth.

I'm so old skool I used J C Whitney for tires and batteries back then .

The chrome stuff is all original except the rims and spokes which are new. Most of it is (re) polished aluminum, very little is chromed steel.

Ok that's right now I remember that it was aluminum on the dreams.

Hung the top of the engine so that all the wires can be hooked up eventually.

Asking for a friend, what treatment did you do on the wheel hubs? Look like polished.... any coating? Did you use stainless spokes, chrome or cad plated?
Honda Cloud Silver (Duplicolor DE1615) for the engine?

Just polished the hubs with a buffing wheel and black compound. Finished off with some metal polish/protectant. No idea on the spokes or rims, they were new parts that came with the pile of bikes. Engine paint is just generic aluminum engine paint.
