I am exhausted after pushing the fat girl around a short track all day. The fz1 is so much easier. Slid the rear tire a bit on a patch, stomped a boot and got it slammed into the luggage guard and caught for a moment. The boots saved me an ankle. It was a worthwhile class, pushed the fjr further than I would on the road. Time for beer and food

When we lived in Minneapolis my girlfriend and I took the ZARS class using her 650 Ninja it was a fun class and she did learn a lot until she lost it on a corner. It had just started to rain and getting dark. Ended up braking her collarbone.

Southwest burbs of Minneapolis for me. I thought it said it in my profile.
There was a college aged girl in my group on a ninja 400 who had crashed the last time she was at ZARS. I was pretty proud of her for coming back. ( She is a couple of years younger than my youngest - daughter). She improved a bunch throughout the day and was asking a lot of good questions.

Stupid question on my part... why are your headlights/turn signals all covered? (Im going to ask, but I'm thinking so the sun has less to 'reflect' on into other riders eyes?

The reasons that they gave were
1) If you crash, hopefully it contains all the glass (Also had the mirrors taped)
2) They don't want riders distracted by brake/other lights

Yep, also a safety thing on track days. If you go down there's less broken plastic and glass to clean up.

Great pics, Chuck!! Your form is excellent!! Bike looks so good in those pics!!

JK, it is a requirement to tape off the lenses, in the event of an "incident," the lens material is not strewn about the track, to cause another rider to have an "incident."

Or, Chuck is just showing off!🤣
