Read the pinned message at the top of each sale/wanted sub-space on this forum. It will tell the poster (and the reader) to NOT try and take sales to PM because of the flood of scammers that have been hitting various boards.I got one pm me $200 shipped![]()

It's so bad that it's grounds for a spam-ban for a single violation.
I'll ask everyone to remind me in a week. In that week. both Jamesdaniel642 and Copcar need to post an update with them giving a peace sign and/or holding a newspaper with the current date on it.
If either hasn't by this time next week, they will be spam-banned. We're serious folks.

Who's Banned? It better not be me for trying to sell a Legitimate Item I have. I just got the message you sent YESTERDAY and was getting ready to take another Picture with your "Piece Sign" you want which I knew nothing about as this is the first time selling something on this site. This my motorcycle it came off of taken in the parking lot at my work.

Since you have posted you obviously have not been banned. You have to understand there have been scammers lurking the boards, they look for the items wanted ads and reply with them having one for sale, to contact them off the board, etc. Just like the rules posted at the top of the bikes and parts for sale section.
Asking for someone to post a pic with a peace sign, or todays paper or something unique helps ensure it wasn't a random pic pulled from the internet.
You posted something similar. The admins here are just trying to protect the members from getting scammed. As a member here that is something you should appreciate instead of taking offense to.
