I personally prefer the little keychain sized door openers. Keeps the opener with you. I put a little piece of velcro on the back and then on the tree of the bike somewhere so that it isn't dangling

Yup - and I don't want every device in my house attached to the internet, and I don't want my phone to be in control of my life. If I want to open the garage door, I stand near it and push a button. If I want to change the temperature in the house, I walk over to the thermostat and change it.

Funny thing is that a lot of folks who have computer careers have no interest at all in doing tech support on their doorbell in their spare time But if it makes you happy then do it.

No, but I change that more than twice a year.

Mortgage companies were still requesting faxes a couple years ago. We always have a multifunction color laser printer so it was never an issue. But when I reupped the cable this year I finally dumped the voip landline that my conference phone and the fax were on.
