YAY, I'm so glad you got it to work!!

I moved my FJR today to the road (about 20') that's as much 'riding' I'll get out of her until the recall's are done... Come'on Yamaha... call me already!!

Ordered a Ram mount for my FJR last week. It came in today! Still waiting for Yamaha to call me for the recall so I can get the things I want to do done on the motorcycle and start to put KM's on her!

@YamaDave check the splines on the final drive for grease.

Yes the rain has sucked here all weekend and today..... Bah!!!!!
I clean and lube pumpkin side and wheel side splines and associated parts as needed each time wheel comes off with some good quality high temp waterproof grease. I'm pretty fussy about cleaning and lubing when things are apart.

Adjusted the front & rear suspension for a little softer ride. Replaced the VStream 20309 with the 20308 and despite my common sense I installed wind shield bracket shims to tilt it. Haven't ridden yet.

Looks very close to OEM although on those the cover flaps are labeled Left and Right. How will you ever know which goes where?? View attachment 79425
Last thing to do before road trip out to Idaho. Air filter. That really should have been easier. They sure cram a lot of wire harness in your way to get the airbox cover off.

The filter wasn't too dirty, but a new one is always nice.

And put fresh batteries into my jacket heater controller.
