Just saw this on another FJR board. Never met the man but he's a member here. Sad news to be gone so young. Prayers sent to his family and friends.

Wow, damn... 56... I am so sorry to hear this...

A person of few words, but when he uttered them, they were profound...

I am always especially saddened when I biker friend goes.

Ride on, Duane, Ride on...

1911 was his handle. Duane was 56 years old and about to clock out of work when he experienced a coronary event of some type. Coworkers performed CPR to no avail.

Duane was kind of a Clint Eastwood dude. Nice, knowledgeable. He didn’t talk a lot. But he was always listening. When he spoke it was usually insightful or funny. He could ride an FJR like greased lightening.
