In response to a question, Rider magazine's head wrench (Chris Sidah) had this to say (April 2006 issue, Tech Q&A, page 110): "While stopping for gas the other day we got to talking with a guy who had a Yamaha FJR 1300. He said he was able to lessen the notorious amount of heat coming off the engine by using information from one of the many internet user sites (such as http://fjrtech.com) devoted to that bike. A sequence of inputs from the console changed the ECM parameters for mixture and timing. He was just buttoning up so I wasn't able to get any details but that information is out there."

Does anybody know where that information is?

you can adjust the C02 level for each cylinder from the clocks. If you do not have a workshop manual, check ot Warchild's site. All the information on how to perform this simple task is listed there.
