Ordered a set of 'Police' engine guards and a set of touring luggage guards for my FJR on Wednesday evening, from R-Gaza in Russia, they arrived today (Friday), not even 2 days to get here in England.

Next job is to fit them, not looking forward to that task, the luggage ones look straight forward, but the front ones looks like a fairing removal job, which to be honest, I've never done. Any advice there would be appreciated.

But anyway the bars look great and would recommend getting them to any FJR owner.

You shouldn't have to remove the fairings, just remove a few bolts so that you can get to where the lower front brackets attach

Thanks for that. I've fitted the rear luggage bars, front ones are the next job.
