My quad lock order showed up today and I'm impressed. I choose the mount with the 1" Ram ball since I already have several Ram mount bits and pieces and the standard handlebar mounts don't work on the FJR. This thing is beefy. There's no way the phone is going to fall off without something breaking first.
I took some measurements of my phone in an Otterbox Symmetry Series case and in the Quad lock case for comparison.
Otterbox thinnest - 0.480" thickest - 0.570"
Quadlock thinnest - 0.450" thickest - 0.550"
The quad lock case is very similar to the otterbox except it doesn't have the small strip of rubbery material on the edge of the case. And so far that's my only gripe.
Wireless charging works with the quad lock case also.
Would have taken a test ride except it's SNOWING! :crying:
