I have an 05 Fjr on decell in 2nd or first gear from 2500-3000 and down
there is a rattleing sort of tapping noise on a cold only engine,After warmed it is gone and is not even noticable.It happens if I accel up to the indicated rpm and let the engine gear it down.Again only cold then after a mile or so its gone.It sounds like a timing chain tensioner rattleing.Thanks for any input

Thanks that sounds better than the answer the dealer gave me after riding it 10 miles that iut was the air pump injectors synching themselves...Do you get the same noise as well...Do others??
