New Suspension

Completed my ride-in to Traxxion Dynamics to get the full package today. My new-to-me 2013’s suspension was due for service and I wanted to upgrade for my robust 285 lbs. What a difference! I didn’t realize how badly I was fighting the OEM suspension’s bad characteristics. Expensive but worth it.

Interesting they didn't mention bushings

Bushings are on the invoice.

Looks like almost $3k in parts alone. I’m sure it rides a heck of a lot better now.

Really a nice color for the FJR! I also have an upgraded suspension, really worth it :).

The full monty!! Yes, significant investment.... the rear shock sounds like a Penske model 8983, a good choice. The AK20 cartridges are ~$1250 alone. Traxxion leaves out the middle bushings, which I also do too when re-doing Gen2/3 forks.

Nice. I would LOVE to test ride a bike with the full upgrade. I only did springs on mine and it was a huge improvement.
Enjoy!

Your first AND second born!

Nice! I've had custom suspensions of various types on all my non-ES FJRs. On a recently acquired '13 FJR I will be stalling a Wilbers shock and the Traxxion AK-20s. Good stuff!

I've said it before... if you want to make your bike faster invest in suspension and a track school. (y)
