Do a Google search on "shoe tree" and you'll get a bunch of info.

Basiclly there are several places about the US, and probably the world,
where people have for one reason, or no reason at all, tossed shoes up
into a tree. More people continue to do this over the years,
(shoes do fall off), and you end up with this oddity by the side
of the road, usually in a deserted local which is good for a photo op.

You mean you still envy guys with a penis? I thought you were over that hump already. No need to flounce off, a little poncing will make the point

@ lucsa, ours is also a 1989 and we thought we'd done well with 93,000 miles, its been part of the family for 10 years now, its has slight battle scars now though after I crashed it in August but we will rebuild it over winter.

My red FJR, well I've had it since August (funnily enough) but not ridden it yet due to not having sold my XJR, the insurance co. won't let me insure both and its too much hassle so I'll swop them over in January when its up for renewal.
