Well I don get to go as often as I used to since I moved to south Texas. But one of my many endeavors is Motorsport photography. I have been shooting races for over 20 years and I have many great memories from the track.

At least you can tell it is Valtteri Bottas...I missed the shot, by having the protection fence, and the wreck tractor in my shot...

For me these are the hardest shots to get...

No I didn’t shoot those with an iPhone, that’s just the phone I had in my pocket at the time I shot them. Nikon D750, D850, and D7100 we won’t discuss lenses…

If it wasn't for a fence and tractor, it would have been much better focus on the F1 car, today's phone cameras are amazing, but you still need a dedicated dslr and lenses.

Yes, we won't talk about lenses... My Bride would kill me if she knew!

I shot that with my Nikon D3400... I didn't want to carry my D610 around with me all day at COTA. Now, I did use a monopod, and panned as I shot.

But your shots are amazing!! Major Kudos!!

Don't get me started. When non photogs assume the camera body is the most costly part of a given setup.

I'm just glad my wife is a non-photog...I just tell her, "The lower the F-stop, the lower the price! It's even better if the F-stop doesn't change; it prevents inflation!" ;):ROFLMAO:
