At cruising speed, I am usually 1 bar under half, and I am her in Texas. In-town riding, I can go 1 segment above middle.
Idling at a light in the middle of the day, and it may start climbing almost all the way to the top. But comes right back down after I get going.
So you will want to check the coolant level in the overflow reservoir. Then if it has not been done, you may want to flush the cooling system, so you know the coolant is performing at peak performance.
