Hi everyone!
I recently purchased a communication system wich I've installed on my 05fjr. Before installing, I bench tested the system to see how much current it consumed.
0.5 amps. Seeing that it was self-fused and the current draw was very low, and wanting it to be activated by the ignition key, I taped onto the back light wires, and everything works like a charm.

A good friend of mine riding an 03 ST1300 tried my bike with his wife and really enjoyed it (the bike also :D ) so he purchased the same system.
I know that some of you out there are previous or present owners of ST's
Can anyone tell me if there's an easy way of taping into an existing circuit on that bike. Or maybe have a link to where I could find the info?

Thanks,
Bob

Don't know about ST's, but the general rule of thumb is to look for either a taillight wire or a front marker light wire. Stay away from the brakelight wire or turn signal. ("Does it work?" "Yup, nope, yup, nope...")
The wire ahead of the brakelight switch would be OK, however.
