While adding a fuse buss for additional electrical circuits for winter gear, I caused a major "short" from my Hot terminal to the battery hold down. Now the bike wont start. It cranks, all dash functions work, have checked ALL fuses, including the main, fuel injection, and ignition. There is power to the ignition fuse. when I turn on the key, I can hear the "EFI" power up.
My dealer, while helpful, has no thoughts for me to persue, short of bringing it in and let him start looking.
anyone have any ideas??
Warchild, you out there? :(

How about disconnecting the battery

Letting the system reset itself

Reconnect and try again.

Something like rebooting your computer when it has a glitch......

Have you checked the 'kill switch' on the right handlebar. Sounds dumb, but it has bitten many before...
