People of earth, as I've received a few PM's with basically the same questions, I'll answer on my post as in PM's.
As posted, this is a USED shock with close to 97k miles on it. While it is probably "tired" I can see no leaks nor had any problems.
As with any used part, the buyer could install it and the thing go all to crap. Is the chance you take with any used part.
Do your OWN research as to the possbile fitment and benefits of a Gen 3 shock on previous years of FJR.
I can't guarantee it will fit anything but my 2013 it came off of. I can't guarantee you will see, feel, notice any improvement over what you have now.
NOPE, THERE ARE NO RETURNS. Nope, there is no warranty written or implied.
If you buy it and don't like it as much as you think or even read that you "should" have, you can resell it.
I'm not Amazon, Walmart or some of the online retailers that you can buy something, try it for some miles and send it back if you happen not want it.
Not to come across as a jerk, but to me, this is common knowledge stuff concerning buying used.
Gen 3 shock on other years is well documented and found using the search function at the top of the page.
And as close and similar as the questions were in the PM's, I would think the same guy or gal was asking. But locations are all different.
If you have any reservations, then I kindly ask you don't buy it. Simple as that.
