Flashing brake bulbs

All you can do is try them and hope they are bright enough. Most of these aren't any brighter than the OEM bulbs. You shouldn't need a load resistor on tail/brake lights, only signal lights. There are brake light flasher modules you wire in to the brake light circuit if you want to go that way.
I personally like the Hyperlites, they do draw attention.

The signal light bulbs are different and have the Euro 15 degree offset on the locking pins..... be sure to use the colour that matches your lens for best results.
 
Yep something like that... the white LED's are actually too blue, and blue and red mixed gets washed out. Looks crappy. Incandescent more yellow, are not white.
 
You'll have to ride behind me, those are a tad obnoxious..... if you're commuting, certainly go for it, you can't miss 'em.

The extra stalk is for heavy duty or vibration applications..... you can get HD 1157's.....
