FJR Seat options

I just bought my 2nd FJR. Had 2008 with Sargent seat. Thinking about Corbin and have it cut down a little for a lower feel. I would like a higher nose on the seat and more bucket in the back. Any thoughts or preferences on all the seat choices.

Thanks

I didn’t find the seat concepts difficult to install, if you have a decent staple gun. Also, removed it and reinstalled the factory seat. I found it too hard for me.
I may be interested in selling the seat concepts cushion and cover, if someone wants to try it out at a discount. I also have a complete front and rear Yamaha comfort seat that I’d be willing to part with. Gen2/3

Considered posting in the For Sale section? People are always looking for replacement seats.
Even when I watch an installation video for Seat Concepts, it's still not clear to me what the kit entails. It comes with a molded piece of foam and a cover? Does this go over your existing seat?!Or do you have to remove the cover and foam of your existing seat?

I will, just mentioning it while it was on my mind.

No, you unstaple your OEM cover and remove the foam, it's stuck onto the pan in a coupla places, just work it off... should be able to salvage it no problemo. Seat Concepts is a new piece of foam, with the cover partly attached. Put it on your pan, then starting at front center and rear center, put in a staple or two. Stretch the sides evenly, starting in the middle... work your way around..... if you have to remove a staple to tighten things up or reposition, all part of the learning curve. Really not that hard. Recommend a helper if you've got one, just makes it easier.
