They look pretty good!

 

i ended up taking a quick ride between thunderstorms. I did notice a drop in the number of misfires, and it seems to be running smoother.

 

They look a bit burnt to me. The recommended 8k is way too soon to change but 41k may be a bit too long but you got your moneys worth.
I have a new set ready to go in when I do my Valve Check at either 25k or 30k. Along with coolant change.

 

I asked for a valve check at 25k, when they pulled the motor for a recall. The lead tech said not to bother until you hit 60k or so.

 

But it would have been soooo easy to do with the motor out.......

 

I've had the new plugs and air filter in for a couple weeks now. A noticeable reduction in misfires. I'm not sure about performance, there's not too many roads around here to test the FJR to its limits.

I changed the oil a bit early at 2k. On Tuesday, I drop it off at Federal transport in Maryland. August 18 I pick it up in Sacramento and take it on a nice long ride via Yellowstone and the Beartooth highway.

 

Ouch. How much to transport it across the country?

 

It was $1050 to ship it Maryland to Sacramento. Worth it to not to drive across the boring parts of the midwest twice.
