2014 FJR. Sat for far too long but bike fired right up when I went to ride it. Rode for 60 mins. Pulled over for coffee. Battery dead. 
Fault Code 44 showed on the dash as did the Suspension light. Couldn't switch suspension settings. Won't even show up as an option. Bump started the bike. Ran fine for the 60 minutes back to home. Got home, turned the bike off, then back on. Still dead. Still Fault Code 44. Suspension light still on.
Hooked up to trickle charger. 36 hours later, bike started just fine but Suspension light still on. Going to take it in for a new battery and scheduled spring maintenance. My question is, is the bike "safe" to ride? I know the fault code is for the suspension control unit, SCU and it's a "simple" (for you guys - not for me! ) matter of resetting it. I need to ride it to the mechanic, 45 mins away on the main road (no twisties or aggressive riding).
Would that be OK/safe?
I did a forum search and found this from 2014 but Queensland Ken didn't post the reset instructions to the site and his other links are broken.
