I am wondering if there are others who have installed a custom license plate on their motorcycle? Please share if you have...

My friend was a investagater for years. Had a jam a while back but got the !*ckers plate number. You talk about deers eyes in your headlights when I was knocking on his door. That's all I can say
Geek mode activated:

Tire Wheel Motor vehicle Vehicle Automotive tire

Note the modified state motto on the plate.

I would have liked to see the look on your face if he answered the door with a double barrel.

Be glad he didn't get your plate number when you pulled away.

I showed up with seven of my Nam club members . VNVMC. We are all old, been thur hell but we all pack. Wish he would have pulled out a wepon wouldn't be the first I had to snuff. Sniper George had our backs in case there was a house full.
Just letting everyone know that it can be tracked. Police can pull it up instantly. People here are not driving around getting plate number but someone in Sudan looking for scam money has a bit of information to start the process. It's scary to see what's on public records. Be safe and keep the rubber side down.
I ask “why” because I have yet to learn exactly how posting a license plate can lead to bad things happening. If it can, then I would really like to know how. All have ever been told when I ask the question are vague references to scammers and the like; no specifics or examples.

I've posted my personal plate on so many places including my Facebook and other groups I'm in and have never had one single problem. At most they can get from it is maybe my address. I say good luck if you come here, I have a small arsenal 5 dogs 3 of which are German Shepards which guard our property very well but to be honest you really would have to watch out for our 1 big boy we have which is a St. Benard if we're not around and he doesn't know you he let's you know you're not welcome. So have fun trying to do anything at my property!

They’ve blurred out plates for as long as I’ve been using it.

Do you know why they blur out faces of pedestrians? Some women are double baggers.
Well guess I am older than you but google never blurred out the plates for years then started doing it for sucurity reasons go figure .A crook don't rob all the houses on the street just the easiest one. You can probably google it LOL !!
I'd be interested to know how anyone looks up your plate, I'd think that would be considered a matter of security in all states..... even LEO's can't do that here frivolously, and the database isn't available to joe public.
So, how is it done (there)?

Just found this little gem while looking at VT vanity plate application forms... Someone over there in the Green Mountains has a sense of humor.

Back in the day I used to have "a buddy in the DMV" that could look them up and see all of the information, when someone would really do something stupid we would go to their Facebook page and comment about their driving. Lets just say, that is an impossibility these days. If someone at DMV enters a plate to search the information and has no reason to be doing so, it's gonna get them fired and possibly charged with a crime. Things got a whole lot more serious in the last decade.
