Not understanding why a seat won't fit just because you have a top box....... pics? Have you checked the alignment of the seat latch? Corbin has their own pan, you may need to tweak latch location? Did you swap around the front tab mount to the "low" position?

Front seat is fine. It's just the rear seat. Corbins website has a note that says it might not fit. It I though I remember somebody saying that they had made it fit

When fitting a Corbin, you remove the plastic seat postioner. I don't know how someone would make it fit. The Givi plate has no where to adjust or trim. You might get Corbin to adjust the seat but without knowing how it doesn't fit, we can't give you any suggestions.

I have a Corbin and the V46 trunk, works fine for me with the oval backrest on it as well. Without further description on what your fitment issue is (pics would help), dravnx is right, then it's nearly impossible to know what you're dealing with.

I was able to get the front seat in just fine (removing the plastic positioner of course).

I have the OEM 50L top case and it appears that the passenger seat bumper are hitting the bracket for the top case rack before it can latch

Do you mind taking a picture of under your passenger seat and the top case mount with the passenger seat off? Might give me a better idea what I'm missing

I have a Givi V47 and a Corbin seat. The pax seat can be a bit fussy to get it to lock. There are two tabs on the seat that have to slide under the two tabs of the subframe. I then look under the front of the seat and push towards the back until the lock mechanism is lined up and then push down. I don't know how the the 50L mounting plate looks or if the 50L sits more forward on the mount then my V47 but the front of my V47 is very close to the back of the pax seat. There is no room for adjustment and I'm sure that is why Corbin has the disclaimer about the 50L.

Pictures of the OEM rear rack attachment which has a brake that runs forward to the frame where the latch is as well as using the original bolt points.

It seems to be that the middle bumpers are hitting the rear most part of the bracket and not letting it seat all the way to the latch

My question is, do you think I could trim the metal lip on the bracket that turns vertical and give the seat more room to set lower and possibly latch?

So it has nothing to do with the 50L. I'll take a picture of my Corbin tonight and compare it to yours. From my experience, Corbin's quality control and customer service is pretty bad.

I think it has to do with the way that the 50L bracket attaches which I believe is different than the normal rack.

Could you take a picture of the the area under the seat as well? Might be able to see if there is actually a difference in the way the rack mounts

Sorry, I forgot last night. I'll be in the garage working on bikes so I'll make another run at it. Have you called Corbin and asked them why the 50L might not work?

I have had to "adjust" Corbins in the past... their pans can have a bit of variation.
If you mean the rear bracket that goes across.... how about unrivet and put a washer under it, re-rivet?? Would let it go back further.... if that's the issue....
