Good evening every one ! :)

It's been a while since I last registered on a forum, so please don't hesitate to tell me if I'm doing something wrong.

I'm Kevin, almost 33 years old, living in Picardy, north of France. An unfortunately famous location because of WWII, if you don't know much about France, this part is very green, very wet and we used to have heavy industries and chemical plants. Weather is more often grey than sunny but people here are really warm. Some say we like having a good drink. ;)

Whatever, here is what you want to hear : I'm a recent proud owner of a 2007 FJR in pristine condition, first hand, clocking only 12.000 kilometers (not even 8.000 miles). I bought it from the stealership that sold it new in 2007 with new tires, oil changes and a one year warranty.

Also currently owning a 2020 700 Tracer that we used with my pillion to travel during holidays (Brittany, The Netherlands, Vosges, Lyon, Normandy, La Rochelle...) I looked for a bigger bike to go farer in comfort. The FJR has a strong reputation here in France : powerfull, robust, reliable.

First job : I plan to order a touring screen from V-Stream as the OEM short one is just a nightmare. I could not believe it when reading this online but truth is I hate it. ^^ Just waiting for Black Friday deals as it is here sold for 220 euros (230 dollars).

Second job : A pair of T-rex guards or similar cause it would hurt to see this lump laying on its side like a dying fish.

Voilà, you know the story. :) I hope it was not too much of a challenge to read. :D

A bientôt !

Yeah, I don't know why but the first post seemed invisible to me... till I created the second thread. And I don't know how to delete this one. Yeah... web marketing specialist they say. ^^

Boom, welcome from NW Indiana ! Sounds like your weather is similar, they (whoever “they“ are) claim we only average 60 days of sunshine a year here, it’s usually pretty grey.

You have a beautiful 07 bike there, that black cherry is one of my favorite colors ! Very clean ! Welcome, lot of really good & knowledgeable people here !
