Any issues seeing the GPS in this location if using a tank bag?

I've ordered a Givi XS307 - a smallish tank bag, so hopefully not gonna obscure the GPS.

I can't really say as I have never used a tank bag but I guess depending on the height I imagine there might be some interference.

My gps is ram mounted to my clutch res however.

I'm keeping my mind open - if I don't get on with my Zumo positioned centre-but-low I may well go with a RAM solution to place it higher.

I normally go by the voice prompts and just a quick glance at the screen while moving ofcourse if necessary can always pull over for more scrutiny. 😉

I like it a lot, it's genius. Right where the GPS should be, and a good alternative to a dash shelf. Wish I'd known about it back in the day of my FJR. I have a similar setup on the Versys.

Let us know when you get it all mounted up and what you think of it. Could be tempted. I also checked out his version for the Wee but not sure I like how close it seems to put the GPS to your face.

I see your two reinforcing screws.... good idea, the tabs on the domed piece aren't all that robust.
