Albums thumbnail is grey

When Iput a couple of pictures in my album, they appear to be greyed out and you cannot see any detail.

Is this normal ? If so, it's not very easy to use.

That is the way mine look too Alan, maybe needs a tweak. But once you click on them, they open up to a pretty good quality view.
