I have an Ivans flashed 2014 FJR1300 ES ECU, part number 2PD-8591A-20-00, looks like this is for 2014/15 ES bikes. I would prefer to swap this directly for a 2013-15 FJR1300A Ivans flashed ECU, which would be part 1MC-8591A-50-00 for the 14/15, but I am also open to selling it outright too if you prefer.

On Partzilla 2PD-8591A-20-00 goes for $1,327.99, the only stock one I currently see on ebay is $599:

The Ivans options for this ECU are:

Stock Air Filter
Stock Air Box
Stock Exhaust
Stock pistons
No power commander
Enable 3rd YCCT mode
Disable cruise control speed limiters
Enable cruise control in lower gears

Also I THINK Ivan will reflash existing Ivan's flashed ECUs pretty cheap or possibly just for the price of shipping, although I am not 100% sure on that.

Ouch! Many years ago I bought a '14 'A' model ECU to put in a '13 FJR to get the better cruise control limit. I bought it off ebay for $100 iirc. But then 15 years ago I bought a Gen I fuel pump off ebay for like $40. Things have changed!!!

So 13-15 A models can interchange ECUs? I believe they have a different part number between 13 and 14/15.

I am definitely open to offers and suggestions on this, currently I don't have much use for it and not sure how trying to sell it on ebay as a flashed ECU might be taken by Ivan...

Yes, 13-15 A-model ECU are plug-n-play interchangeable. It's been done many times. I have been hunting for a NON-Ivan flashed 14-15 A-model ECU for a long time, as has at least one other member I know of. If you are serious about selling one for a reasonable price PLEASE PM me!!

I would love to hear what you didnt like about Ivans flash, just the requirement for midgrade gas? Or something else?

I will keep you in mind if I do get into a position of flashing my 2014 A ECU, if it looks like that is going to happen I will gladly swap you for your 2013 ECU first and have that flashed instead.
Cool, I appreciate it!

Nope, haven't spoken to him about it. I swapped the flashed ECU with another member for his unflashed one.

I am curious how much everyone else's fuel mileage improved with Ivans flash, I know he adds some fuel, but also he adds a lot of timing, so I think the MPG increase likely comes from the timing and needing less throttle at the same cruising speed.

Looking back through my pictures looks like I picked up about 4-5mpg with Ivans flash on my 2014 ES, but should PROBABLY switch from 87 to 89. This was a pic I took today when we filled up.

I went from ~31-32mpg average to ~35-36mpg average with Ivans flash on my previous 2014 ES bike, but my current 2014 A bike gets about 36-38mpg so far, admittedly at generally lower speeds.

$3.209/$2.759 = 1.16 so in my area 89 is about 16% more expensive than 87.

36/32 = 1.125 so 12/13% better mpg, but 16% higher fuel cost... If my current bike went from 38mpg to 43mpg that would be ~13% increase...

So Ivans isnt saving me any money looking at my numbers, but again I would love to hear others experiences.
