how far ahead is far?? perhaps you can make a diary note to check the rally calendar. Who are the "others" you represent here. Some folks may need a bit more notice but I wouldn't like to speak on their behalf .

Hey Andy, I have silver (the REAL colour) 01 (although it will probably have a cover on it!) and camp up the top on apartheid hill.
Looks like we'll have some decent weather for it this year too!

No probs I'll keep an eye out for ya. I have an 03 in that metallic glad bag green colour.. We're heading off Friday about 1pm from a mates place at Marion. Me, an old FJ1100 and a new Bandit 1250. Heading via Keith, Mt Gambier, Nelson and taking the cape Bridgewater turn off. Plan to arrive tea time. Weather permitting which as you say is looking pretty sweet.
Tag along if you want by all means.

Cheers! By 1300 I should be somewhere near Casterton (probably at the pub!). Heading via Kaniva then hanging a right, just for something different. Usually go via the Coorong.
