Your profile doesn't say where you are located. If you live in the US or Canada the 2004 wasn't available in blue.

From what I have read there isn't a lot of difference between the '04 and '05. Yamaha was waiting for the '06 to make changes.

You now have a choice of colours. Think of that!! You will probably find an '04 with low k/milage and it will be your sweetest deal.
Probably will be a few being traded in on '06 models too, but then you will pay the dealer premium on the used model.

No choice. Rocketdoc is saying you have a choice of 04 Silver or 05 Blue.

Just for the record, it has been scientifically proven that the 04 Silver is faster than the 05 Blue. Has something to do with reflecting more of the in-coming radiation from the sun. The dark blue gets weighed down because it absorbs the rays of the sun. :)

No, no.. that's not right. The Blue ones started out silver, but turned during pre-release speed checking from the air friction heat. Yamaha then started the rumor about the "radiation reflection" to appease the egos of the Silver owners. :lol: :lol:
