I would say yes.

But why not call your local friendly Yam dealer and ask for the part no:s for the 01 and 03 fuel pumps. I´ll help you along with the 03 part no 5JW-13907-10-00. Couldn´t find the 01 but I´ll bet its the same.

Oh forgot to mention that I have one fuel pump for a 01. The fuel sending unit isn´t working but the pump is fine.

If interested in the pump send me a pm and we´ll work something out.

The pump numbers are the same all the way to the 06 model, BUT.

The modification number - last two digits on the 06 model is 21 I think.

The pump has the same part number just a different modification/version number.

However I do not know if they fit

I called a couple of dealers about the fuel pump issue...not much help was offered. I then called the Yamaha Hot Line, the best answer I could get was 03 through 05 pumps were the same, 06 through later models were different than 03 -05. No one could give me an answer what the difference was mechanically or electrically. The only thing they could be sure about was the retail cost....700.00. They have quite a few used on line, mostly for 06 through later. Can anyone tell me the difference?
