I might not go the 3 wheeler route when I can no longer handle the FJR, but I certainly would have another Maxi scooter. My wife and I both had Yamaha 400 Majesty's and they were great and I have ridden a 500 Yamaha T Max scooter that was very fast...and they now have a 560 T max that should be awesome. Twist and go baby, with comfort, wind protection and storage.

My neighbor bought a used one a couple weeks ago and it took him two hours just to remove the battery. Thing steers like a very old 10 yard dump. I just don't consider them to be a real motorcycle and a new one (RT) is close to $30K. I'd buy a new R1200RT loaded for less than that and if I couldn't hold it up I'd be done with motorcycles same thing goes for a scooter.|

I know itís chain drive and all the rest of the arguments against Ducati but you may be surprised by the bike. My Ď19 has spoiled me. Not sure exactly where you are but go by Gulf Coast Motorcycles in Ft Myers and take one for a test drive. Jeff Gallo, the owner is a friend and great guy. I would say go to Ducati Pompano/Miami because Omar the owner is also a very good friend but they are so unorganized they would probably send you out with no air in the tires and the electronics turned off. Not trying to get you switched but certainly worth riding one.
