philharmonic | If it was flexible enough to allow the rider to use the Top Box as a backrest, like the passenger uses the Givi Top Box for a backrest, that would be cool. |

Bill Lumberg | Great product. I am still barely avoiding ordering the gen III over-the-seat rack. It's only because the wife rides fairly often that I've avoided the order thus far. |

Garauld: I see in the catalog post that you offer a SR346 mount with an extended rack. Please LMK how much it will cost and whether the backrest you sold me for my Gen I work with this setup? Seriously looking for a GIVI top trunk. Thanks. |

There's another thread out there displaying my SR357 aux rack for Gen2/3 bikes. A picture follows below. I could tweak the design and add a plate to the top of it to allow relocation of the Monokey base. The front hand bar might have to go. I have no plans to copy the other gent's design.![]() |

GMan55 | To reduce the space between it and the pilot when no passenger and maybe an increase in carrying weight over the rear seat instead of the tail. I've thrown a bag between myself and the trunk and it seems to make a little difference with drag. The bag works but it would be nice to have another easy on/off trunk setup or maybe even two trunks. Maybe the guys that have built the one offs could provide some real world examples any other benefits and if they have increased the carrying weight. Doubt there are any taller trunks out there for increased capacity but if closer and over the rear seat that might be possible. |

Garauld | First I've seen it. What's the need for relocating the trunk? |

New Add-on extension for Givi SR346 rack owners (Gen1) I am now able to provide a rack extension that bolts to your Givi SR346 rack. As it is 16-1/2" wide and 2-1/2" longer, this should make the SR346 much more versatile. Below is the CAD prototype design I came up with. It easily attaches using four longer screws that I provide. They will be powdercoated wheel silver like your rack but other colors are available. Cost is $180 plus S&H. Actual photos will be posted when available. If you buy one, you will need to notch your black plastic Monokey base with a Dremel so it will clear the lateral tubes - an easy job. PM me if you want to pursue. ![]() |
