I know the previous owner of my FJR as well. Mel has become a good friend and I convinced him to become a motorcycle riding instructor at Fanshawe College. He's not only a dork, he's a fellow motorcycle safety wimp! He keeps telling me that I need to attend the EOM and I just may one of these years. My wife and I are celebrating our 25th anniversary in September and we've been talking about trailering the bike down to the Blue Ridge Parkway for a few days so maybe, just maybe I can figure out a way to meet up with the FJR brethren. By the way, the bike trip is her idea - she's a keeper!

Quick question - have you switched your headlight bulbs to LEDs and if so, what brand/model did you go with? I switched out the halogens on our 2012 Mazda 3 and it made a huge difference.

    Take care and stay healthy!

Yep, gets rid of all ads, plus I think you get to configure what view to use... that's about it. I figured lifetime was better than a recurring annual one... I'm not planning on going away any time soon....

Shortly after joining into the FJR Owners Group I looked into paying for a membership. Yes, I'm Dutch but I don't expect to get something of value for free. I used the Contact form to inquire about paid membership and what it entailed but never got a response. I notice that you are a "Lifetime Premium Member". Do you have any details on what comes with a membership? Are ads removed from the site if I log in as a paid member?
