Passx, It's great that you finally found the solution to this vexing problem, it nearly drove me mad. However, as far as my bike is concerned, it's some one else's problem, I sold the bike about 15 months ago, complete with flashing ABS light.

But my new bike is a Super Tenere, which is basically a twin cylinder FJR, it has all the same, or very similar, electronics, so I have been waiting eagerly for this bike to start flashing it's ABS light. At least now I will know where to start looking for the problem.

FJR Models owned from new, 2001, 2003, 2006, 2009, 2011, 2014.

Sorry Bernie, I guess I didn’t look at the dates, I would keep it in mind though because i’d Bet the s-Tenere probably uses the same switch sets.

Hi Guys
I intend to do a complete flush of all systems later in the year as its over due to be done, Im looking into making a retrofit ABS test link as I think it's quite important that this ABS motor gets a test periodically, and its good to know that its working for your own peace of mind, what do you guys think?

I was thinking of a small key switch that can be hidden away but still be easier than the current method.

From what I understand from the manual if a fault is present the test routine may not display the stored codes which is a bit awkward.

I'll let you know how I get on.

I did just that on my '14 since there is a fair amount of room outboard of the battery. Connector you already have if you can get the right connector and terminals (can get from Eastern Beaver, get a few extra to practice crimping).
I used a cheap switch and left it under the battery cover in such a way that it can't get accidentally turned on, just zip tied it to a convenient wire.

Friends.
My name is Carlos and my country is Brazil.
I know this forum is FJR, but I need some help on the issue of the ABS Jumper for SUPER TENERE 2015 ES.
What wire colors should I use to make the Jumper?
Thank you friends.

You really should discuss that on a Tenere forum and you wiring diagram will show you which two wires to jump. If you're making a jumper for those two wires, color and polarity are unimportant, but you do need to know which two to jump.
The FJR's had a couple of changes in wire colours... not relevant to a Tenere.

ABSProblems

2014 Gen 3 - abs light on -went to dealer - lots of theories and willingness to strip bike at great expense with no prospect of solution. So I started and

Switches - check - no cure
Sensors - check - no cure
Rode in hot and cold conditions -no cure
Levers - stripped cleaned and re greased - no cure
Relays - check /cleans/greased-no cure
Relays replaced- no cure.
Callipers - stripped / cleaned - Pistons lubricated - CURED ( they were very dry and with layer of crud down side of Pistons - especially rear, which seemed to initiate fault.
Took some time - not a job the dealer would do.
