Yeah indeed for the VFR. It's also great for the jacking up part of the FJR. I just push it down, slide the block of wood under the headers and let the stand down. Easy Peasy.

I'm a cheap bastage so I don't buy "specialized" tools unless I absolutely have to. Jack stands for use on one, maybe two bikes vs a 2 ton floor jack that I can use on bike(s), cars, truck, lawnmower and tractor is much more efficient to me. Just make sure it has a removable handle and you're golden.

I don't currently have an FJR but my go-to was just using a heavy duty ratchet strap under the triple tree suspended from my engine hoist with a load balancer for tire changes. Probably a bit overkill, but I never worried about tipping it either.

Actually have 2 of those...lol. I don't trust either of them to hold pressure long enough to rest a bike on them. The better of the two is a Craftsman, which holds pressure long enough to get real jack stands in place when I'm working on my car...but I wouldn't work under that one otherwise either...lol. Kinda seems like you've gotta spend a couple bills to get a pump jack worth a poop these days.
