I believe for Gen1, there was a supplemental manual for the optional ABS.....

If same as Gen2, I think ABS_15 is related to the front wheel sensor.... they sometimes get corroded and bridge.... remove sensor, careful not to break the plastic sleeve, clean it to get rid of any aluminum corrosion, clean the mounting hole, coat both the hole and sleeve with silicone grease, reinstall.
I'm not all that familiar with Gen1 diagnostic screen operation, but you may need an ABS test harness or bridge the two upper wires in the ABS diagnostic connector, then go into DiAG.
Once you correct the condition, the code should go to stored status, no issue if you don't clear it, but see if it returns after you clean the wheel sensors.

Yes, same. What you may want to do is check all the connections in the ABS system, including unplugging the ABS ECU and refreshing the connection. The ABS test you ran doesn't need sensor inputs, but actual riding does. The error code may be active during the test because the front wheel is not turning, and as long as the sensor and housing are clean, it will become a stored code.

As long as the ABS light goes out once you start moving, you are good..... except your rear is not working, so no ABS on the rear wheel.
