That's what you get in the box.

What size clamps go on those? The customer service guy says 22mm...but when I convert that to inches I get 0.86...

when I look at clamps for foot pegs they say things like 7/8 and 1 1/4...
uhhh...

I am not on speaking terms with math... makes it hard to shop.

Edit: playing with the online converter shows that 22mm = 7/8.

7/8s get you pretty close.

7/8*2,54 cm = multiply with 10 to get mm

I don't mean to digress, but can someone recommend a set of pegs and clamps. I'm overwhelmed by choice today.

or , I could just read this article about top 20 footpegs .....

Strat, they look great. If you dig further in the box you'll find that enthusiasm pill. But don't take it. You'll go out and ride before you tightened the bolts. LOL

As for math conversions anymore, I use my computer of phone and go to Google, our overlord, and just punch in convert before putting in the #. You'll always get the answer. It knew your answer before you even had the question. LOL

Yeah, enthusiasm will be back...just not today.

Math.... sigh... I do overcome it thanks to the calculator and the internet, but ... to this day... engenders a kind of panic.

short history lesson: entering middle school in 1975, I desperately wanted a 5-function calculator... but could not afford the $120 price!

I remember. That is IF you were allowed a calculator. $120 was an on sale price! LOL

HP's were much more $$$ and you had to enter in reverse logic. if you wanted 5x20=100 you had to enter it 5 <enter> 20 <X> <=> and you got your answer.

Sorry for hijacking.

not hijacking at all ... this is just FJR people having a good time....

The other good news is that the luggage guard bars are back in stock at TRex.
I've ordered those and will do a similar unboxing when they arrive.

We'll show that stock market! We can spend our way back to prosperity... or at least have a fun time trying!

If you install the front axle slider, you have to cut the tube down by about 1/4".
There are 3 kinds of people in the world, those who understand math and those who don't.
Finnfjr, Sete Bond and 2GENAE like this.

bike X miles=smiles
smiles bike=miles
smiles miles=bike.
It's simple math.
