Yamaha emblem inside chrome strip on bag

My 2013 FJR came with the little Yamaha emblem on the right side saddlebag missing. I remember seeing a post about this little piece for about $15 but I can't seem to find the thread again , any help out there ?

This is common, from 2013 on you have to buy the entire emblem. The above link is from a 2012 and just the Yamaha decal for $13.49 Hit it with some Gorilla glue, it'll never come off.

Gotta take care of my fellow rider across the river. It's a shame, NYC used to be such a great place to ride, I used to enjoy it, the challenge of it all. Now, the police are not so friendly towards motorcycle riders. Ride a bicycle, you have your own lanes! Motorcycle... your instantly a felon. Stay safe.

Good to see there is a Yamaha part # for it. My dealer couldn't find the part # for it. I ordered a set from a forum member. He also makes them with the FJR1300 logo. I got a set of each

As @FjrjrF said, from 2013 on they list the entire chrome piece. Just pick any FJR between 2003 and 2012, use that year to look up the part and it will be the little sticker. This is much cheaper. Bikebandit, Ron Ayers Motorsports, your local dealer, whomever you use can just order from a Gen1 or Gen 2 bike.

Or you could get rid of the chrome strip entirely and install the black rubber piece from the earlier Gen FJRs. That's what Really Cool folks do.

Does anyone know where to get one of these in Canada? I emailed my local bike store, but they haven't gotten back to me yet - somewhere online would be great.

Current bike: 2015 FJR1300A
Previous bike: 2014 NC750x

Redfish, I have a spare oil filler cap if you're missing one, lots of OIL under that bike

P.S. also what motor oil is the best for FJR?

A little phone call to Inglis or Hully Gully with the part number from the Partzilla link above..... ??

Yamaha messed this up...... taking a Gen2 part and sticking it on a slick chrome surface for Gen3 and not revising the adhesive........ sun comes out, warms the adhesive, little strip falls off.... the wise will peel them off and put some good adhesive on them.....
