My 2002 FJR1300

Got her today, 55000 on the clock, custom suspension, good seat, great condition, and the guy that sold it to me was full of information about the bike, I think $3500 was well spent, can't wait to put some miles on her !uploadfromtaptalk1458846438367.jpg

Congrats! The suspension upgrades and seat make that an extra sweet deal. I really enjoy my '05. Enjoy!

Looks a lot like my '03. You'll be very happy with it and that seems like a decent price.
I noticed you have the wheel lock on. I use one, too. May I offer a word of advice?
Put something around your throttle grip - I use a piece of torn, purple cloth - to remind yourself to take that lock off every time before you roll away. Otherwise I PROMISE you that one day you WILL forget, and you'll be in a world of hurt.

Congratulations on the bike - looks sharp. There would only be one result if I used a wheel lock and it would not be pretty. Hardened thieves wouldn't be deterred anyway.

This reminds me of a sad story: in 1994 I sold my beloved '88 Honda Hurricane to a young guy (i.e. my age ) who didn't even know how to ride. He lived about 15 minutes away from me so I delivered the bike to his apartment complex and he drove me home afterwards. I kid you not, he called me 48 hours later and said someone had stolen it right off the stoop of his apartment. I didn't have the heart to even ask if he had insured it. I feared he had not since he had not even learned to ride it yet.

Sorry for the hijack. God, I hope I didn't just jinx you LOL. You should go out for a nice ride today. Be sure to take that wheel lock off first tho.

Looks familiar, great bikes have been all over the US on mine and it's not skipped a beat.
