Color changes only or are we going to see a redone bike? Personally I think they are a year or 2 away from a big update.

Gen 2 was what, 6 years? 2006-2012. Gen 3 would probably go at least 5 years. It would be good if they could change the louvers on the side to be more sturdy, from what I've heard.

If they are going to change something, I would wager it's going to be following the industry's move to LED headlights, so that would need a completely redesigned front end. Though, one can never be sure. There are many out there who still swear by halogens, and claim they cut through dirt/fog etc better than HID or LED lights due to the color spectrum they project.

We could always hope for a rear subframe redesign, but that might be pushing it.

A local dealer said Oct 6th about 2 weeks ago, so that agrees.

The Blue's that are on the 16 FZ-09 and the V-Max would look good on the FJR. The Tenere without ES can come in yamy yellow...pretty cool. I see a lot of Black 16s too. Bright colors help the FJR stand out..... I get compliments on my red 14 everywhere I go, black and grey are snorsville.

Agree that is an Awesome blue. The FJR would look so nice "if it was that blue" I might need to trade my 2014 in!!
