Technically yesterday. Bought it from a local Royal Enfield shop that took it in as consignment from a customer who bought from them (not technically a trade in). Is a black '09. Put about 500 quick miles on it in one afternoon, kicking it just over 43k miles.

I pickled mine for the winter Using my “world famous” pickle juice. Pickle juice consists of 1) Stabil, 2) Lucas fuel treatment, 3) marvel mystery oil. Been using the “pickle juice” for a lot of years now with no bad effects and easy starts in the spring. On the fjr I run it long enough to circulate it through and make sure the tank is full, on carb’d bikes full tank run it until I’m sure it’s through the system and then shut the petcock off and run it dry.

Just got back from a trip to North Carolina. Put over 1200 miles on them on freeway and some of the curviest roads in the country..Dragon (3x), Moonshiner 28, Cherohala Parkway (over and back), BRP up to highest point and back, Smoky Mts National Park, Foothills Parkway.

Think I enjoyed the Foothills Parkway as much as I did the dragon. That's a bucket list collection of roads you did there, thankfully I've rode them all but they're still on my bucket list so must get back over.
