Is it just me or does anybody else find this really weird... a Yoshimura from Yamaha on a Yamaha?
I've only ever had ONE Yoshimura exhaust on a bike before... and it was on a Suzuki. I'm still on that believes that Yosh pipes ONLY belong on Suzuki's.

FWIW... I have Leo Vince pipes on both my FJR and Ninja.

Yosh makes pipes for all sorts of bikes. I really like them. I recently (with the help of a friend) broke down my R77’s for repacking. With over 30,000 miles on them, I figured it was time.

Neither had experienced burned or degraded packing. Both were completely full of intact fibers. I think they’ll easily last the 60,000+ more miles I’ll put on this bike before it’s traded on a new one.

I put a Vance & Hines pipe on my Suzuki GS1100E back in 81. As a matter of fact that was the last after market pipe I ever put on a bike. All that noise droning down the road drove me crazy. Came to realize I like hearing the wind better. Don't even like following someone who has an after market pipe on their bike. I leave the stock pipes on now and appreciate the quiet.

Yeah, Garauld. He quit making them a long time ago. I still have those mufflers with the Trooper mod.

Umm, Mr. Ferret, that is a 83 GS you're sitting against not a 81. Beautiful motorcycle by the way.👍 I'm a GS Suzuki collector. I'm looking for a 79 GS-425e if anyone has one out there. 🌞

Yeah sorry I get the year on that mixed up with the year on my GS 850G which must have been the 81 (root beer brown). I remember one was an 81 and one an 83. Both great bikes btw
