Used to have a C Bailey windshield on a 2007.
Sold that bike about 2 years ago.
Now have another 2007 that has a different windshield but can't see the brand.
It is however very noisy.
What do the experts suggest that will get rid of the wind noise?
Rides are 150-200 miles once or twice a week. No long distance touring.
TIA, Mike
How tall are you it makes a difference? Do a search here there was a thread about this last week or so with a link on how to measure in front of the bike so you can purchase the correct height windshield.
There is several good windshields for sure, might look at this link. https://calsci.com/motorcycleinfo/FJR1300prod.html
Wind buffeting has been an issue for me so I tried the Yamaha touring screen about a year ago. It was much better than stock but not good enough so I went for the V-Stream sport/touring mid size, which IS good . . . and better than the Yamaha touring model, but I still get some buffeting. Adjusting screen height makes a significant difference and if I lean forward it puts me in a bubble. So the handlebar risers that change my riding position back & up evidently are making a negative difference as well.
Plenty of opinions and experiences on FJRowners if you look. Want to buy my mint condition Yamaha touring screen?
Please post your impressions of the Calsci windshield. Thanks.
