I haven’t run an angel. So I’m not qualified to vote. But I prefer 4GTs over anything else I’ve run. I’ve
run sets of Bridgestone, metzelers, pr2, pr3’, pr4, pr4gt, and pr5. I have a fairly new 5gt on the rear and a 5gt going on the front Saturday, if that’s any indication.

Just wore out a set of 4 GTs. I thought they were great tires. Never a moment of concern in wet or dry in 10,000 miles. Another set of 4 GTs will go back on.

Angel GT has been my tire of choice for many years now. It performed flawlessly on my Connie and now on FJR. I have no reason to try a different brand...

Neither, there are tires better suited to my needs. I positively despise Pilot Road tires. I used to run the Angel way back before it became so popular. Good tire but I have since moved on to better.

Pilot road 3s are plenty good enough imo but im on 2s now as they were cheaper and i dont need the extra wet grip.

GT tyres ive tried but went back to just standard side walls, more flex and feel.

mileage i dont manage more than 4k on Mich even less on other brands. But that means nothing because roads and riding style make a massive difference.

We all have opinions, but only yours counts in the end, for your riding style. Both are good all around tires for grip and wet performance..... buy one this time, next time try the next time. I mix and match, my front may not be same as the rear (translate, not a fan of the PR4 front).
There are more to choose from.... Continental Road Attack, Avon Storm 3D-XM, Shinko Raven 009....... all similar in grip/wet/wear

Pilot GTs have never done me wrong. I put on my 1st set when I'd worn out the OEMs, and I've been using them ever since.

"Oh bother," sighed Pooh as he armed the photon torpedoes.
