Yamaha rear rack sold out?

Been trying to find the Yamaha rack 1MC-F48D0-V0-00. Anyone know if this is temporary or have any idea where to get one/when they'll be shipping again? Thanks.

I'd put the part # in google and start calling/emailing the distributors that come up. Cheaper that way too.

Officially sir, Yamaha Motor USA is the distributor , and he would be contacting dealers. May get lucky and someone have on the shelf.
And the dealer can look on their Yamaha system to see if it shows any ETA, as the Yamaha site does not.
I did that gig for about 15 years, so should be the same.

Or go with a Givi set up and hopefully no delays getting what you want. More choices with the Givi stuff. I've got the SR357 rack and the G56 Maxia Trunk

On-line distributors come up when googled. They are not dealers of motorcycles. I'm referring to partzilla, cheapcycleparts, bikebandit and the like, not Yamaha Motors dealerships.

Thanks for the ideas. My local dealer was able to search and find 3 of these in the US at other dealers. I was able to order one.

FYI, these are apparently back in stock from all the usual suspects for anyone looking for one. I was told along the way that Yamaha was expecting to produce a run of these (not sure if that means build, ship, or deliver and to whom) in late October and I'm an impatient guy so I decided the small amount extra the dealer was charging was worth it to me.
