It's the little things

A new rear tire, an oil change over the weekend and Im feeling more happy about this bike again. I think it would be too hard to say goodbye to it. Now get a set of rear pads and bleed the brakes and Im looking for a camping trip in the mountains somewhere in the near future! Bike does make me smile. It's easy to concentrate on the relatively few shortcomings than th emany good points it presents in a package. I just need to shut up and ride it!

Crap you live in one of the best areas in the US for riding. Such variety and scenery, I could spend a coupla weeks riding up and down the side of the Blue Ridge, and go back for more another day.

Are you a gurl? "I like it. I don't like it. I like it again." Surely there's a meme in there somewhere

Hey, just because I look like I need to wear a Bra, lets not make assumptions here!

I know what you mean though, sometimes for me it seems like a chore riding the bike. Especially commuting in the early spring and late fall as it often requires more bundling up than is comfortable. It's not unusual for me to just let it sit for a few days or a week or two and just drive instead. I'm getting pretty wussy-fied in my old age and having some A/C in the heavy humid mornings after work is nice.

I havent done a single decent ride this year yet.. I wanted to have a good multi-state ride in, or at least multi-day ride in by now. Think my longest ride since the last time I rode with you was about 4 hours. Have had put some mileage on the DR but even combined its been dismal this year. Pathetic. BUT, Things are looking up!

I'm free Sunday! Shoot a text if'n you wanna go somewhere. I was thinking of checking out some eats in Floyd, VA. They smell great every time I ride through.
