My new to me 2013

I'm from the MS coast. I flew to Erie PA to pick up a 2013 with 4000 miles and rode it back home. I took the scenic route down the Skyline Dr, Blue ridge Parkway over to the Dragon and back thru the Cherohala Skyway. I really like the way the FJR handles the twisties. My other bike is a KTM 690 Duke, so a big change.

welcome Downsouth. Sounds like you had a great "first" ride. Probably about enough to figure out what farkles you'll want to add to make it "yours".

When I was shopping recently, I saw that bike & gave it strong consideration. Great bike, low mileage, beautiful condition, reasonable price. The sales guy & I played phone tag for several days and never actually hooked up. His loss but I'm not unhappy w/my '16A model I picked up!

Ride her vigorously.

NORM! like that guy from Cheers... Norm as in normal... I never met a Norm I didn't like... Sounds like a nice motorcycle and a nice ride home. Your motorcycle will love you for getting it out of the cold winter season. From one Norm to another, welcome 🌞

4000 miles on a 2013? Please tell us you are going to use the bloody thing and not just look at it.
