Many thanks also from a 2001 Gen 1 owner who found the site a wealth of information, & (mostly) good natured banter.

Good luck with your future ventures, & welcome Dwayn.

PS. Whatever DID happen to Starcruiser, I think it was ?

Joos and Jake - thank you. Through this site I have made many friends (and some I have even met ). Your patience, perseverance and contribution will be long remembered. (BTW - how is the Jooslet? Any siblings?) Ahhh - the good old days.

Dwayne, welcome aboard. Of all the FJR forums & sites this is still my first choice - may have something to do with being here from the early days when the 'murcans were locked in the 'waiting room' while we were already out riding. I still refer back to the earlier versions of the board, and hopefully they will still be available - if not long term, please try and give us some advnace warning.

@Gainsi - stirring will get you nowhere Mr Cruiser was banished from more than one forum - some formally, some by his own choice.

Many thanks, Joos. I'll just echo what's already been well stated here. This site has added good friends to my life in addition to all the good bike discussion.

Welcome admin!

As an original member from 2001 then it's a sad day for me to see this, however I can honestly say that it was expected as some point.

It's the contributors over the last decade that has made this site and whilst a lot of our old friends now frequent more region specific sites, it still has been such a cracking source of knowledge and information that has helped me look after my bike with reasonable confidence.

So, good luck to our good old Dad and his lady and thanks for looking after us.

Obviously, a warm welcome to our new host Dwayn and long may we continue.

Yep. Here myself since 2001 when I ordered my first FJR and then another one for MrLiz who continues to enjoy his reputation as a 'snorer'. Since then I have had many fantastic weekends away with some great friends. Even though so much has changed for me over the years ... Kids all grown up, life in a new country and *coff* moved on to the GTR, what you started J and J has been a constant. So I say a very heartfelt 'dankjewel' en 'tot ziens'.
