Newbie saying Hi

Hi guys/girls, I wish I had found this site earlier
I've had my 02 for just on 8 months now and LOVE it ( so does the other half ) I find It fantastic on the two-up long runs, and do surprise a few friends when up the the twisty stuff as well

But I must admit I also have a VTR1000 that gets to 'play' alittle more than the FJR

I do have one question though, I put a set of Staintune pipes on a few weeks ago and the idle has jumped up to 1800, will the computor readjust this over time or should I put her in to get remapped ?

Anyhoo hope to get to know the site and the ppl in it over the next few weeks/years

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like the bike likes the Staintunes.

Have a look at this thread and re adjust the idle back to 1100-1200 and see how that feels.

I also have stainetunes and the idle rose by a hundred or so when I installed them as they are a bit more free breathing,

an increace of 6 or 700 does seem a bit high, could someone have messed with it , unknown to you ?

Stu..
